Welcome

Coming from diverse backgrounds we unite together around one primary thing: God’s love displayed to us through his Son Jesus’ death and resurrection. As we believe the gospel, so we rest in the knowledge that we are God’s dearly loved children. This love then urges us to live out our lives in response to God’s goodness—by loving Him wholeheartedly, being connected to His people, and by serving others.

From children’s stories to expository preaching, we aim to see young and old alike deepening their understanding of the Word of God and growing in Jesus. Our prayer is that GraceCity becomes a place where you can grow to love God and connect with His people in meaningful ways.

Leaders and Staff

Elders

Our church is led by a plurality of male elders who are biblically qualified according to 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1. Whilst Jesus Christ reigns as head over His church, elders are responsible for shepherding the flock, guarding the doctrine of the church, and the governing of the church (Colossians 1:18; Ephesians 4:11; Titus 1:5).

Deacons

The Deacons and Deaconesses are godly servants of good repute (Acts 6:1-7). They have a clear grasp of the gospel (1 Timothy 3:8-13), and have the important duty of managing practical matters so that the Elders are free to spend more time in prayer and the Word. They help unite the church by bringing together the fraying ends of our community, and by enhancing our evangelistic mission (Acts 6:1-7).
